NONO Agricultural Development PLC

NONO Agricultural Development Plc is a company that specializes in the production of high yield hybrid seeds. As such the company provides small scale farmers high yield hybrid seeds at very low prices and engages with the farmers on how to maximize their productivity by providing free training programs by highly trained professionals. Moreover, NONO runs a free demon stration program on how to maximize productivity by using modern farming techniques on the farmers own fields.

The company also builds access roads for the surrounding farms and provides the community schools with annual maintenance and teaching materials. It also provides material and financial aid to the children of the local farmers for them to attend school.

NONO Agricultural Development Plc is also the patron of the NONO Woreda Sport Clubs.

During the DreDawa flood of 2006 and the displace- ment of 600,000 people due to violence in 2017, NONO Agricultural Development has contributed considerable financial aid to the affected families through government relief programs.
